Hey all,

Buying my first car in 10 years, I have a few 2018 Accord LX's in my crosshairs.

Random question, because I'm a sucker for silly things like this....is there any way to have the daytime running lights come on when you unlock your vehicle? Perhaps this is a feature if it is dark outside or I set the headlights to automatic?

Apologies for the noob question. I could just ask the salesmen that I have talked to, but I figured I would take my question to the real professionals first.

Only option I see in the menu is whether or not to have the signals flash when you unlock the car, and how long (if at all) the headlights stay on when you turn off the car.

There is a puddle lamp accessory which I believe does turn on when you unlock the doors with the remote. I probably would have installed that (I’ve wired up lamps under my mirrors in several other cars to do just that), but didn’t bother on this car because I just end up grabbing the door handle vs. unlocking via the remote.

You can set the headlights to auto and when it's dark outside they will come on (see attachment). I have the puddle lights installed on my car and they also come on when the car is unlocked.
