Just recently picked up my new 2.0T and loving it. I had also purchased a Hondata FlashPro for it but have now decided not to install it after discussing possible warranty issues with my Honda Service Manager (and friend) especially since I also have the extended warranty.

Welcome to the forums! Your warranty only voids if your engine or transmission blows up ONLY due to the tune. If you tune and the infotainment breaks or your heated seats don't work, they can't justify that a tune causes that. Honda has to prove the tune is the cause of failure before they deny your warranty claim. You can research on the Maguson-Moss Warranty Act.

But if your paranoid about it. Then just don't do it and hold on to your FlashPro.

For me, I see it as a Type R engine. Haven't heard any 1.5T exploding with just a tune either.

RagerX- How do you like the FlashPro?? Any issues with installation or performance??
Night and day differences with stock vs a stage 3. It definitely makes your whole driving experience much more awake and fun to drive. I never have any issues uploading calibrations or the tune yet. If you have the FlashPro. Just update it to the latest firmware, download the calibration you want, plug it into your OBDII port and wait couple of minutes and done.

Welcome to the forum Mojo, congrats on the new Accord! I'm not sure that a dealer is ever going to recommend an aftermarket tune, but Hondata have proven themselves to make reliable products. Honda seems to be a little more tune friendly than some other brands, like VW.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I'm an Admin on a Harley forum so its been a long time since I was a newbie. I really like the 2.0 Touring, it seems to do everything quite well.
