2.0T Owners with the Borla 14076 "Type S" exhuast in Toronto?
Hi all,
New owner of a 2.0T Accord, wondering if there is any owners even with the 1.5 variant that have installed this exhaust system (or a custom solution for that matter) that would let me come over and hear the sound?
I am on the fence about the Borla, from the clips it sounds really good but I am looking for a deep melow tone, I want to stay as far away from tin can ricey noise as possible. No hate, just not my taste. I know it's hard to get a deep throaty sound out of a four banger, but if somebody who has modified their exhaust and achieved a descent sound profile with it, I would love to come over and hear it.
I can located in the GTA but can travel around, even up north to Barrie or to the sides like Whitby etc. The trip will be worth it so that I can hear first hand.

Hey there, I'd love to offer my 2 cents. I know that the Borla is a fairly loud and raspy exhaust even by aftermarket standards, and this may come off to some as an added bonus. Personally, after reviewing many clips on youtube I would say the (maybe not loudest, but..) deepest and throatiest exhaust I've heard (once again only on videos) is the DC Sports. I have the Borla S Type. No drone, pretty quiet when cruising. I ran it with factory DP/FP and it was very subtle even WOT. If you go Catless or HiFlow Catted DP and larger FP it is considerably louder. Then again so is every exhaust. The quietest is Thremal R&D. Depends what you want. This platform in general is not a very pretty sounding when you put on an exhaust.
