When accelerating from a stopped position, I’ve noticed that my rpm’s would continue climbing while accelerating instead of my cvt “shifting” unless I let off the gas a decent amount. Then everything is fine. It doesn’t seem to do it when I turn left or right from a stopped position. FRUSTRATING and very annoying.

Hi, I think it is normal, mine does too. Accord doesn't have preprogramed gears like Civic. But when you push it to ahead redline, it shifts nicely
