Hi guys, picked up a 2018 Touring 2.0 CPO yesterday.

After a few hours of driving today, I noticed that it sounds like there is a ratting or cracking noise coming from the dash directly in front of me while driving (I don't think it's coming from outside the car). Anyone know what they think it is? I'd like to make a list of everything I notice with the car over the next two weeks. Was also wondering if you guys can tell me specifically what to look for? I was told I have 12 months left of bumper to bumper on this.

Thanks all

I had the same issue after 500 miles with my 2019 Touring. The squeaking reminded me of a 1968 Plymouth Fury I once had. It's not a good sound. Mine was the clear plastic of the OHD rubbing against the bottom of the dash.

A call to the dealer got me nowhere ("No, never heard of that.")

I got some rubber gaskets, about the size and thickness of a quarter, put four of them above the plastic, and it's been blessed silence ever since.

UPDATE: they did the latest update for the HUD as detailed in the Honda Service Bulletin 19-083. No issues yet, crossing fingers.

I do have a question about the ventilated seats - how strong is this supposed to be? They said they fixed it, but I can't tell if it is working or not...

Thanks you all!

Glad the update was performed... was a little concerned when the TSB said it was suspended. Hopefully this will take care of the issue.

You will (should) hear the fan running on high but you will not feel much air moving however you will feel the difference in your butt/back not feeling tacky w/them running then you would w/them not.

Initially, I forgot I had them. Then I started using it. At first, I was not impressed. However, within a little use, you really feel a difference, and to echo Fired00d, you definitely hear the fan when on high. Option I have definitely using of late.

They aren't the strongest ventilated seats ever, but they work. An important distinction is that they are just ventilated and not specifically cooled. I notice it much more when the AC is on and the windows are up vs, AC off and some windows down. I don't notice much of a difference on low setting, but medium and high work well for me. As others said, the fan noise is apparent (but not overly loud).
