Hello all -
I've spent the past few days going through all the threads related to adding/upgrading amps/subs to the 10th Gen. I have a 2018 Touring and the lease is due and my wife has decided to keep it so I told her I would finally upgrade the audio. I decided to DIY as I have built systems in the past.
Challenges:
- I have not been able to find a "real" T harness related to the 10 speaker system.
- I have read all the posts related to the "hideaway" subs. I don't think that's my route.
- I found the 5Star guys on Youtube that did the 911Accord and had to add the DSP, but they weren't really clear on what exactly they did.
- I also found "JustAHonda" on Youtube. Lots of good stuff in there, but not a lot of explanation on exactly what he tapped when he was showing his harness options. The last one he held up did not look right, but it sounded like that's what he used? I was going to email him, but I assume he's here and hope he pops up!
- I have RF Separates on the way and was going to Dynamat the doors and rear deck and see where we were.
- I really liked the Kicker Key after looking, but I'm not sold 100% on the "Auto" feature? I'd like to keep it simple and hide something compact up in the ANC location. I saw someone do that with the Kicker Key.
