So after trying to see how high I can rev the Honda Accord 1.5T Sport CVT 10 Speed Automatic transmission, it would not go past 4000 rpms. Is there a way to do so? Would it be a tune? Also which exhaust would sound loud without going with a downpipe?

I don't have a 1.5 but that doesn't sound right... ?

The below lists your redline (if I'm looking it up correctly) at 6500 rpm...

1.5 cvt is a artifical 7 speed NOT a 10 speed trans and I have no problem hitting 6500 rpm's on mine, there is something wrong with yours if it dosent.

Oh right it is 7 speed but I'm talking about when in parked and just trying to rev it, it won't go past 4000 rpms. While driving I can hit 6500 rpms.

Can't answer your question as I've never sat at idle revving my engine... even if I did I probably wouldn't rev it that high. Have to ask why one would want to rev their engine that high at idle in park?

Just a friendly FYI (since I work for Honda).
It's 100% a safety feature.
Engines are meant to be operated under load past a certain RPM.
While parked, the ECU sets a lower limit to prevent damage.
