This is exactly why I feel that every car that comes from the factory with a turbo,/sc should have a boost gauge. It's a very simple piece that is invaluable as a preliminary form of diagnosis on a turbo/sc car. Just put it in 4th grear or so and floor it without making it downshift (of you have an auto). If your not hitting max boost you know you have a problem somewhere. Now finding a small boost leak is another entirely lol. Luckily small leaks are usually clamps, or become a bigger leak pretty soon. But sometimes even smoking a car it can be a nightmare.

Ok so I may have found an issue to the scan tool issue. I'm very interested in this thing I'll start a new thread soon but basically we used something similar on VAG cars. If it really gives you the same functionality as the Honda factory tool does (and from the videos I saw it does), it's basically the Honda VAG tool I have been looking for. I may try one myself just to see the hidden functions ect, especially considering the cost. The VAG tool is like four times the price, but just about EVERY enthusiast has one. There is usually some really really cool stuff built into the factory programming. Things like quicker shifting, torque steer mitigation, steering weight, and tons of other things dealerships charge you and arm and leg just to make a couple clicks on the computer. Anyways take a look I'll investigate more when I have some time super busy lately. There are several sellers just first link I copied

You may not be able to change shift points per se, but for example it may make them quicker. The torque steer mitigation system was awesome, helped the wheel stay more straight so you had to compensate less. There's tons of stuff hidden and can vary from modern ect. Here's a quick example I googled and that's just a small part of the list. But let's say just for resample you wanted to add distronic or whatever they call them, mirrors to your Civic, you would still need to code it. Things like this solve problems with upgrades like that. Most of this stuff is being included in the right to repair act in the govt right now.

Very interesting, anything to make the 10 speed any faster is a win and features that could be implemented such as the screenshot you posted would make life easier👍 Especially the guys pushing more power features that help with torque steer is also a plus. I will follow the thread once you make it definitely.

provide the video to the service advisor or give him a ride along in your accord, mine has never made a noise like that and you never know it could turn into a bigger issue down the line.
Yea sounds good the thing is the noise doesnt happen all the time .. I’m trying to figure out when it happens if it’s when ac is on or what today it was fine 🤷‍♂️

Did the dealer check if the diaphragm under the brake pedal. The can check doing what is called the smoke test where they introduce "smoke" into the engine bay and if there's an open vacuum the smoke will find it.

There are a handful of videos un youtube about it. It's not a common problem so many techs would not know this

Whistling noise when I step on the gas does anyone know why it does that if it’s bad ?? 2021 Honda Accord 2.0 sport..at first I thought it was a turboNew video by Joaquin R
Hi! I have the same issue. There’s whistling coming from the passenger side behind the glove box. I only hear it near 60MPH or above WITH the air recirculation on. Once I turn off air recirculation, the noise stops. I took it in several times to the dealership and they found nothing. It’s driving me insane and I’m worried the air causing the whistling is going to cause long term damage. Did you ever find a solution?

On my car it it was the throttlebody coupling .. the clamp . It was hard to figure out because it didn’t do it all the time .. I finally figured out that when the car was hot or warmed up is when he did it. I have a YouTube video on it JRod.Cuztom
