Will hopefully be ordering a 2019 2.0T Touring this week. Are there any accessories you have that you really like, or wish you hadn't got? There are so many listed in the build sheet. Also, when added to your new order, did you have to pay for installation, and if so, did they charge you an hourly rate?

Agree with @BoostedAccord I prefer the black chrome look. I added the following on mine prior to delivery...

Black Alloy Wheels
Body Side Molding
Decklid Spoiler
Door Visors
Front Fender Emblems (Black)
Moonroof Visor
Rear Trim (Black Chrome)
Splash Guard Set
Sport Grille (Black Chrome)
Underbody Spoiler
Black Wheel Lug Nuts & Locks
Door Sill Trim-Illuminated
Interior Illumination
Puddle Light
Heated Steering Wheel
Rear Bumper Applique
USB Charger - 2.5 Amp (Rear)
All Season Floor Mats - High Wall
Trunk Mat - Carpet

And Llumor Window Film after delivery.

The only option that I would have second thoughts on is the door visors as they aren't as functional as they are for looks (see this thread - Window visor warning for explanation), however w/that said I still like the look of them.

For the gray, silver or white Accord, I agree with the black chrome. We are getting the Radiant Red, and I think the chrome accessories looks nicer.

Thanks for the info on the window vents. I guess I forgot to open the windows on the lot to look at the gaps around the windows.

I did drive with the moonroof open and was surprised with how loud it was (compared to our '04 Accord with a visor). Did you happen to compare sound levels before and after the installation to see if it make a significant difference?

FIRED00D, how did they quote your accessories package? Did they charge you labor, Three of the dealers I spoke to said they do.
Price of car, accessories, and install was all together with everything discounted. I have a friend in another state that is a parts manager at a Honda dealer I had him do a (discounted) build sheet for car, accessories, w/installation and used that to shop locally... found a dealer that matched that price and purchased from them.

Everything is negotiable but I doubt any dealer would do labor for free... if they do they are going to charge full price for car and/or parts.

The good thing about having OEM accessories installed at time of purchase is you get a three year warranty on them versus one year warranty if you add them later.

Didn't drive car prior to install of moonroof visor (car was ordered and all accessories added prior to purchase/pickup). However it is IMO loud(er) than previous cars I've owned w/sunroofs and visor attached.

All of the accessories are generally dealer installed unless you order a car. Makes it hard to negotiate. I would ask for what you want included in the price OTD. Make sure you only buy what is not easily installed by you. Get everything else online. Add nothing to a lease car.

All OEM accessories are dealer installed (at least they were for the 18's). I ordered my car and wanted accessories added during the build but was told Honda doesn't do that. Would rather have had them done during the build versus having a brand new car disassembled when it got to dealer. Was fortunate that my sales person knew/understood how anal I am about my vehicles and got their best/top technician to install them.

I got almost every accessory possible except the wheels. The items i couldn't install myself i had them do. The rest i just bought after i got the car as too avoid the install related mark up. On the items i had them install, the was a fee that i presume is an estimate of their time.

I was looking for a turbo with good mileage and was fun to drive... and i wanted it to be quiet while on the the highway.

I don't regret a single accessory i bought.

I see others on this forum with some concerns they express about their 2018, but i've had none of those. No regrets here... at all.

Thanks Rick! Did you by chance get the stainless steel rear bumper guard? My wife wants the bling, but I think I'd rather have the 3M applique. If you do have the metal guard, do you have pics, or could you text me one? Thanks! Hopefully will order our car today or in the morning.

I love my all weather floor mats. I will be getting the body side molding exterior panels because my car is less than a month old and already has 3 door dings due to people opening up their car doors and hitting my car. The touring comes with alot of things on the list. I have the splash guard set also. Keeps the dirt off the rear quarter panel.

I got a price list from my honda dealership with cost of installation of aftermarket accessories. 2018 and 2019 accord use the same accessories.
