I didn't see a Discussion about this , Possible on one of the Other Forums . .

I did Find a Label on back of Aura Transmission ATF 2.0 Bottle that says use it in Transmissions that have the
Picture of ( ATF 2.0 Label ) on Trans .

Ebay - also has Comparability Tools ? - which does say OK ( Not Trusting that ) 4 2018 Accord Touring 2.0 Turbo ./.

Anyone have any Other Input on this Topic 5 qts for Honda =$105
Aura - ATF Type 2.0 - 5Qts = $76

Bob Oil Guy - site - seems to be 3 years Behind in Info ..

I did Find Honda Oil Filter on Honda Parts Site for Less then the College Site , but with All these High Mileage Accords

But Bottle Does NOT Say - ( Shake Well ) ? ~ This is ODD ./.

As Far as Part Number 08200-9017 being a New Number ? Not see this anywhere ./.

It does come up as ATF 3.1 which for 9 Speed Trans ( Different Design ) but According to Honda Shops
that have NO Inventory of Type 2.0 ATF ( Sounds like Tech have been Using it ) It does say Shake Before Use on that ~ 3.1 ATF Bottle ~

I'd like to see Both those " ATF's " Fluids Tested ( side by side )

Spending Time & Money to be Posting Up some Testing - But
A Hole Never Delivered ATF - also as Noted - several Honda Dealers were Out of Stock , as also Stated the PRICE
Just took a Jump on Honda ATF .. so It Turns Out You don't Read all of Post - as It's all about the Details ./.

Now Back to ATF for 10 Speed , so I Guess NO Body has a Anything on Acura ATF 2.0 Fluid - seeing it is able to be Bought at 33% Less then Honda ATF 2.0

OK , so According to 34 Post that Old Rent-A-Man say that Fluids are Exactly Same , an Few E-Bay Sites - We Better Agree to those Facts !

Well Not 1 Honda Tech would Confirm that , and 1 Honda Dealer said they were using ATF 3.1 for the 9 Speed as they were all Out . Brahhaaaa LOL


Now Back to Quality Assurance & Inspection Requirements & Black stone Testing ( I'll Need a Few More Actual Facts ) from Far Superior Sources !

Have Not Found 1 fact that States Transmission are same ( Shared Exactly as Manufactured ) it makes some sense to do that , But Automotive Designers & Engineers always to some Tweaking or just Plain Screwing with Items ..It seems !

Have Not been able to Find Clear Cut Photographic Evidence or Transmission Comparisons . .

With 400Tq Limit Implied by Tuners : It would seem the SUV Version would be Designed with Different ~ Valve Body ~ Stronger Requirements ./.

Auto to be Offered in Newer Civic - putting out more Out Put 2023 may have Different Clutch Linings ..

( Mostly it just Looks to be Thinner ATF with Additive ~ Friction Modifiers ~ )

Thanks to All for Their Input - Always Open Door - More Better ./.

OK just got Done doing ATF @ 51K - Video's Others Posted Help , as I was sitting on Fence whether to Use Boat Pump ( Which Pulls Oil Out )
Or do Drain as I Know ATF was going to Fly Out .

I don't have Professional ATF Pan or Deep Professional ATF Funnel for that Pro ATF Pan .. which also have a Long Notch in a Cover ( Also Keeps It from Splashing )

I Decided to Only Open the ATF Fluid Level Checker ( Smaller Area of Air Allowed In ) - this - Slow Gush Down ./.
I Also took Large Funnel I use for Fuel that has a Filter Screen in Bottom , I Stuff Outlet with pc. of Blue Work Towel - Turn Entire Thing Side ways Pointed Big Opening
At Drain Plug - Resting on Top of STD Oil Pan . .

This set up Worked Very Well , so much so I didn't even really need the sideways Funnel ( But it did Catch 100% Spatters )

A Few Interesting Observations :
1. ATF SMELL - Old ATF didn't Smell Pissy or Burnt , but Smelled Like Toast ( Like Oil Toasted )
2. ATF NEW Smells so Very Clean ! // Like it has a Fresh Detergent Package in It also // Not Like Brake Cleaner , but Like " Oil Based " House Hold Cleaner ./.
3. Magnet Plug does Great Job - Got 3 Half Finger Lengths of Blackish Grime Off & approx 7~10 very small Metal Particles . .
4. I Used 4 Drops Thread Locker on Install of said Magnet Drain Plug ./.
5. Hose Dia 5/8" Clear Vinyl is Actually .615/.620 OD just over 1/2" ID - Fit Nicely on My ATF Funnel I had Kicking around & Used 28" Length on End of 7" Funnel = Plenty .
6. Checked Level @ 40K was Good - Interestingly - I did NOT Get 4.5 qts Out ( I Attribute this to Changing Later @ 51K ) . . Draining for 9 Min. Hot !
7. I Add New ATF Amount of 4Qts & 475ML ( Qts Very some each 1 qt had 910 ML & another had 890ML ) Interesting ! Summary ( I added back 1 OZ more then 4.5 Qts )
8. Cleaning Package Agents probably Evaporate Over Time .
9. Friction Additive ( What I would call Impact Agents ) as ( Look like small Fragments of Teflon )
10. Impact Agents - get Contaminated with Very Fine Metal over Time - like - Brake Dust this is what ~ Collects on Magnet ~
11. Waiting to Long ~ Your 10X Transmission will be Lower on Fluid & Magnet would be Completely Cover & ( Unable to Collect ) said Particles - leading to Fast Wear ./.

12. I'M ADDING 2 PICTURES COMPARING OLD vs NEW ATF - I Purposely Allowed New ATF Pic Larger Hoping U see Impact Agents ./.

OK , so My Extra Order of Acura ATF 2.0 with the Acura Part Number showed Late Last Night .

Opened Today to get Sample for the Sun Spectrum Shot to see the Additive , also Examine for Smell ( Send Out to Blackstone )

Any Low & Behold - It's Honda 2.0 ATF ( Same Exact Bottles ) No Blue Cap , No Different Label etc. ?_?

As far as I saw, this seller has couple of listings and although for some of them he's using Acura pictures, in the item description it's written that it's for Honda:

I didn't realize this discussion was going on until now.

I've changed the ATF 2.0 in my 2018 10-speed AT five times so far.
1st one at 51557 miles, 2nd at 81634 miles, 3rd 116372, 4th 157629, and 5th at 190342 miles. I'm at 220887 and due for another change.
I have used both 08200-9015 and 08200-9015A interchangeably and both are available side by side in many Honda and Acura Parts Departments I've visited. They have been confirming that it's the same stuff for the last two years when I've asked.

I do not use anything other than a standard drain pan and a long funnel with a hose on the end to reach the filler hole on the side of the transmission. (Transfer pump is a decent idea too but more cleanup than a funnel)

-Run through the gears as described in the manual (and posted in an image above)
-Drain the fluid out while car is on a level surface and put the plug back in.
-Fill using the funnel (making sure to shake each bottle for a bit first)
-Open the check port to verify the level and adjust as needed.

It's not any harder than changing engine oil on some older imports (with difficult filler hole arrangements) and there's no oil filter to worry about.

More Like S O L with them .. I had to Poke them 3 Times , Finally came Across ..

I guess it's normal - huge store with 350k listings. With some delay, they always replied to all of my messages.

But I guess it's not the case now. As the 5pcs bundle was declared as OOS I asked if they can repack some ot their other listings with "10 available" - like 2pcs, 3pcs, 10pcs and even 11pcs in order to relist the 5pcs one again. They replied that they are totally OOS for this type of oil, the other listings are valid no more and they should withdraw them from ebay. Just checked - they've done it indeed.
