I’ve done the Hondata stage 1+2 upgrades, along with a PRL intake + Borla S Type Exhaust.
I have new rims and Michelin PS4’s tires incoming. I want to get this rear Eibach sway bar installed soon too.

What would you super nerds recommend for me for power?

E85 upgrade
Downpipe
Cold Air Intake
Type R Turbo Upgrade

Money is, but isn’t if the upgrade is ultimately worth it.

I’d definitely go with the down pipe. I’ve been contemplating e85. And throw a SRI in it. That will increase the air flow in. Slight increase in boost between that and the downpipe.

hey folks, first post on these forums. Just bought a Certified Pre-owned 2018 Sport 1.5 with 2400 miles on it. Still has that new car smell. Great car. Had the dealer do the Hondata Stage 2 tune and it definitely improved performance. So now, being greedy, wondering if there are any other reasonable mods I can make that will further improve performance. But, and this is a big but, I don't want to do anything to void the 10 year/100,000 mile drivetrain warranty. I was thinking about doing something along the lines of what NickAtNite posted, upgrading the air intake and exhaust, but does doing so void the warranty? If so, totally not worth it to me. I can be very happy driving the car as is. It's not quite as robust off the line as the 2005 Infinity G35 I just traded in, but with the stage 2 tune, it's close enough. Any suggestions/guidance would be greatly appreciated, this is definitely WAYYY outside my area of expertise.

Your warranty may already be in jeopardy... if you were to have a case where you had to take your car to another dealership for any warranty work and they hook the digital technician (DT) to your car and it is found to have an aftermarket tune you can best believe Honda may void the warranty if it will save them $$$$. Don't know what the installing dealer has told/promised you but beware if it's not in writing they will backtrack if Honda corporate gets involved. I have heard that the ECM's can be returned to their "stock" tune but I have yet to hear/read a case where there was a warranty issue/concern that caused the owner to want to return to that tune and it was confirmed the DT didn't pick up that an aftermarket tune was previously installed.

Wow, when I bought the car and agreed to pay for the tune, no one said anything about any impact on the warranty, and during close and signing it was reiterated that because it's a certified pre-owned vehicle that I now have 9 years left on the 10 year/100,000 drive train warranty. I'm emailing the sales person now for clarification so I can get some assurance from them "in writing".

Not surprised that dealer would sell/install the tuner and not surprised they didn't let you know of the possibility of warranty issues. Take a look at the warranty from Hondata in particular the last paragraph....

General Warranty Information

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act

Vehicle (engine/gearbox) warranty cannot be denied simply because a modification has been made. However because of the nature of tuning, Hondata cannot guarantee optimal or appropriate tuning has been done and as a result cannot cover engine damage.

The statement above simply means manufacturer's can't deny a warranty simply because the device has been installed but the knowledge of it being installed will have them dig deeper into the cause of the failure. I'm surprised that Hondata didn't go further and state that their product is for "Off Road/Race Use Only" (at least I didn't find it). Tuners by nature change the air and fuel delivery from stock (IE: EPA compliant) specifications. Some will even adjust/increase the rev limiter. These things being changed can (and most likely will) be reason for a manufacturer to void the warranty.

With all the above being said by no means am I against aftermarket performance parts (Tuners/Downpipes/Cold Air Intakes/Exhaust/etc.), however those that wish to go this route while vehicle is still under warranty need to know of the risks if warranty is an issue/concern to them.

great points. I've reached out to the sales person and he thinks I'm good but is double checking. I'm eagerly awaiting his final reply.

If they sold me an upgrade and installed it that voids the warranty while simultaneously making claims about the warranty as a selling point in the car, then the next call they will be receiving will be from my attorney.

Now, it sounds like from what you posted that the stage 2 tune doesn't by itself void the warranty but it creates the potential where if there was some kind of engine damage, the dealer would have the opportunity to "explore" why it happened and if they subjectively determined it was related to the tuning could deny the claim.

One reason I bought this car was to get that Honda reliability. I'm hoping the tune doesn't screw that up. I sure do enjoy the performance enhancement.

The installation of the tuner/tune in and of itself doesn't void the warranty, however if there were ever an issue w/a motor/powertrain failure I would strongly suggest returning the vehicle to stock (tune) before service. If the day you took it back to the installing dealer, just by chance there was a representative from Honda there that day (as they do visit dealerships on occasion), for some reason they wanted to inspect the failure, and it was found out there was an aftermarket tuner/tune on your car there well could be issues. Due to the fact that in the case of most failures the DT will be hooked up to the car to read any codes that may have been thrown, if RPM's have been exceeded (over factory specs), and if the factory specs (air/fuel/boost) are still in the car. As I previously stated returning it back to factory/stock tune before returning it for a "failure" service hasn't been confirmed to my knowledge that you would be safe.
