So , I bought a 2019 Accord LX and didnt realize that the LX has the absolute worst infortainment screen and speakers and sounds isnt great. I want to put in a different head unit . Can I upgrade to the larger touch screen that has more features. MIne only has bluetooth and thats basically it. It doesnt show any info on the screen when someone texts and it shows an incoming call but I have to transfer to the phone bc when I talk it doesnt hear me. Not sure if thats bc I have the most basic model screen or if there is another issue.
Any advice on this would be great. My crappy 2014 Chevy Cruze had a better screen and audio system than this car does. Kinda disappointed in Honda . Love the car tho otherwise.

Not sure if its the same radio in the 1.5t sport with the 8 speaker layout (6.5 and tweeters in the front and Rear) no center channel or sub. But if it has this layout. You can use T harnes just take the radio out and plig the harness inline with the stock wire harness and radio. Then you can use a dsp amp or an audio control LC7I and put an amp and new speakers. That is what I did. As for phone calls hopefully whoever had the car prior did not cut the phone Mics.

Did you replace the infotainment head unit. The one I have is the very basic . Not apps or settings just bluetooth and radio. Not touch screen either

No kept the stock unit. Just replaced the front doors with some focals 6.5 components using the stock locations. In the rear left the OEM tweeters and swapped out the 6.5 for some morels. Used a T harness under the stock radio so I would have access to the speaker leads. I tapped in using my LC7i. The radio I have is a touch screen and I use my phone to play Pandora or SiriusXm using a usb cable plugged under the radio by the cigarette lighter.

I belive the non touch screen unit is the only one with an aftermarket. I think this is one of them.
