Looks almost like my k&n. With the benefit of added insulation. How bad could it be. The biggest thing would be that the maf makes a good seal in the housing.

i just my 2020 accord sport 2.0t a week ago and purchased the AF Dynamic CAI last night. it seemed to be similar quality with all the same features as the higher prices stuff. i was always a fan of injen(my 03 EP3 still has one) but decided to try and save some money. i'll report back how this one is

Yes jason.d.absher please report back. I have a 1.5t and reached out to AF Dynamic and they have a 1.5t version coming. As a matter of fact they said they are past due from the manufacturer. Should be in the next shipment container.

sorry for the late reply. the AF dynamics kits is pretty great tbh. it comes with part for part every piece that the k&n kit does minus the k&n filter of course, and at more then $100 less then the other kits its definitely worth it imo.

sorry for the late reply. the AF dynamics kits is pretty great tbh. it comes with part for part every piece that the k&n kit does minus the k&n filter of course, and at more then $100 less then the other kits its definitely worth it imo.

I just tried to look this item up on ebay again and now the price is $500 for the 2.0L kit and they still do not have 1.5L kit. Do you remember what you paid for your kit Jason?

I have purchased this kit pretty much as soon as it came out. I had 2019 2.0t and sold it about a year later because of personal reasons.

This intake kit has a great quality for its price and even if it was around 300 bucks.
All the pieces were made with great quality materials and instruction was pretty clear. I have not dynoed the vehicle after installing it but it felt like the car definitely was breathing better during higher RPM. Intake air temp was slightly high during very hot days when I'm stopped at an idle for a while but about 10-15 secs into driving, the incoming air into the engine bay brought it back down to normal. Of course I loved the sound.

Only issue I had with the intake was that one rubber piece was not staying in its place but that's due to my own mistake by cutting that piece by accident during installation which I should have glued it back on instead of just wedging it in without any adhesive.

I do have a pretty complete kit for sale, not to highjack the thread. One rubber piece is cut during installation you should should glue it on lol.

How was the sound on it? Compared to some of the others out there.

This guy did a test on the major brands for intakes for our cars. The most gained was like 4hp. They're mainly for looks and sounds to be honest. I have an Injen SRI. Love it.
