I don’t think it’s worth it for $750 i just did a whole kicker system in mine with components front and back and an 8 inch sub pushing out 600 watts and it sounds amazing everything cost me $500-$600 bucks also sound deadened everything you can think of in the car. So the value for just an amp and sub that’s sub par is not worth it in my opinion.

I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. As far as your component install, did you use the aftermarket passive crossover box? Or did you connect the aftermarket tweeter/woofer directly to the stock wires?

For me personally, I like the idea of this packaged because I can still use the trunk space efficiently (I’m a commuter dad with 2 dogs and a kid, my days of sealed 12” boxes in trunk are gone haha), while also giving factory speakers a bit of a boost. I’ll eventually replace the speakers but not yet.
so it came with a passive crossover which is awesome i didn’t plug the tweeter to the factory system and all i went with was an 8 inch subwoofer in a small box no issues at all with trunk space trust me we need it lol we go back home to NYC quite frequently and i have no issues stuffing two big suitcases in the trunk with that small sub box i will send pictures.

I have a 2018 1.5 manual sport. I want to add a subwoofer using a line out converter tapping the front speakers. Does anyone know the speaker wires color code for positive and negative. Also since I'm using the front to tap do I still need to disconnect the AnC?
yes you still need to disconnect the ANC unfortunately but it’s easy the front drivers door is positive PINK and negative GREY and the passenger door is positive RED and negative is Black

it also may be easier to tap into the rear speakers then the front i ran a line output converter directly from the harness because i changed all my speakers and wanted to run wires directly from the speaker wires to my 5 channel amplifier but if i just wanted to add a subwoofer which in my opinion is not worth it because the factory speakers are crap and should be changed out i would’ve done it from the rear speakers because they all run the same power so you won’t have an issue tapping into the rear speakers it will be easier.
