I'm having an issue where the audio randomly cutting off. It started one day randomly I restarted it and fine. Now the Audio works for 3 secs and Cuts off. Only mod done to audio is a under seat compact sub that's been installed for about a month but everything seems fine with that no issues. I did disconnect the ANC box because it caused interference with the sub. No loose cables and it only takes signal from the right speaker So I doubt the compact sub is causing the issue. I checked the audio fuse under hood and it's fine. Reset the radio, updated the system all of that. Any suggestions ? Could their be a fuse behind the accords radio?

Since you mentioned recently adding a compact sub I would return everything to stock (if that's easy to do) and see if problem persists. If problem goes away then it would be time to start tracing all wiring/connections that were added in this upgrade to make sure all are connected and grounded (if needed) good.

^What the d00d said. If you can at least unhook what you did and it all works you know to go back and recheck your wiring. Does the whole headunit go blank when the audio cuts out or do you still have power to that screen?

Yes the screen works 100% never an issue. I just rode back from work home and immediately put it in Bluetooth audio (it was on FM) and it worked normally on the trip home. This is very weird.

I had th sub professionally installed. But I did check the wiring to see if there was anything loose. I'm going to bring it back in a couple of days so they can double check the install.

Another weird thing is that the sub is a compact powered Sub. Its wiring is separate to the head unit except for taping into the right speaker for signal. I verified the right speaker and the wiring seems good. That's the only part where the sub would interfere with the Audio.

Most definitely take it back to installer and have them check/verify the sub install. Since this problem started shortly after installation it well may be related. A loose connection/ground can be a PITA and difficult to find so leave it up to the installers. Good luck and let us know how it was resolved.

not at all barely ever. But I did try android auto and it had the same audio cut off issue.
I use AA each/every time I'm in my car... using it to have Waze displayed in infotainment center. I occasionally will loose connection with AA and screen will say no smartphone connected but XM will continue to play and AA will reconnect on its own.

CarPlay does that to me every so often. Usually I have some pocket lint built up in the port and I just have to clean it out and it's fine. Thats exactly why I was curious if OP used all that, I've heard connection issues on both

So I took a quick 5 min ride in the car and the audio cut off again. It's like when it warms up it cuts off. Or under consistent use.

Finally was able to take it to the install place. One of his employees apparently didnt connect the speaker wire correctly on the left side speaker. It cause the audio cutting out cause it made contact with the metal. All Goo now. Im just happy it's not an issue with the OEM warranty cause I'm out of the 3 year bumper to bumper.
