Is there something I can do or buy to get the blow off sounds? Having my first turbo and not hearing it is annoying LoL. I have the 1.5 Sport
Wait for PRL to come out with an open element intake and then you’ll hear more or the turbo spool and wastegate noises. The stock setup has silencing equipment installed to keep those noises from being audible. With that said, I’ve owned 8 turbo cars and my wife has owned 3 turboed vehicles...only on one of those cars have I installed an HKS blowoff valve. The “whoosh” noise is cool for about two weeks and then you wish you had never installed it.

The current intake they offer (PRL Motorsports) is what they call a "stage 1." This setup is a tube to replace the stock corrugated intake pipe and a drop in filter. This may increase under hood noises a little bit, but not to the point that you're probably looking for. A true intake with an open element filter that replaces the entire stock assembly has yet to be released (This style intake will increase in under the hood audible noises).

The stage 1 is more of what I'm looking for from an aftermarket intake for the following reason. The stock unit is pretty efficient and already considered "cold air" as it draws from the front of the vehicle. I simply need a more open drop-in filter and the replacement tube to smooth out the airflow.

Not sure...You'll need to reach out to some of the common Honda aftermarket manufacturers such as; PRL, AEM, Injen, etc..

Mishimoto is developing one and K&N has one already, I think.

PRL and Mishimoto seem to be developing two different area's of the intake pipe. I wonder if they will be compatible or if they are both working in stages just from opposite ends.

I would love to see an entire filter to turbo intake system with a Box to isolate the filter like the stock system or what Mishimoto's system looks like it will be. I wish the smooth intake pipe that the Type R has would fit. It looks nice and I'm sure it flows much better than the Accords with the resonator built in.

I have a boomba racing bypass valve that gives a different sound than the stock valve, you can always look into that, I also have hot and cold side charge pipes upgraded with HPS pipes, a PRL intercooler and a PRL HVI V2 intake so all that helps with the sound
