I have a 2018 Accord Sport 1.5/Cvt. 30.5k miles. So, within the last few days the car has felt weird. When you let go of the brake at idle, the car creeps forward, as its supposed to. 2 days ago, Ive noticed that my car doesnt creep forward when releasing the brake (yes, ebrake is off). The car will sit there for about 2 or so seconds and the rpm will go up about 100-150 then the car will begin to roll. When it begins to roll, you can hear the front brakes lightly make noise like release from the rotor as if theyre holding the car? It happens at every stop. They have plently of pad as well. Calipers sticking? Something else?

Possibly calipers stuck. Does is pull any one direction under braking? You could pull the front tires and see if you have uneven pad wear from inner to outer pad

Actually this is a pretty reasonable question. I honestly forget we even have the brake hold feature 🤦‍♂️

lol I don't use mine either but sometimes I'll accidentally engage it without knowing and then I'll be like why the heck is my car acting weird?!

I've been there before. Accidentally setting it with the manual sucks because then you start thinking you forgot how to drive lol

also, by design, if there is any slope where you stopped, the brakes will stay engaged till you push the accelerator
