Was torquing down the bolts that hold the top of the strut spring assembly and the bolt broke. Now the bolt and the nut are somewhere in the engine bay and after 30 minutes of searching I still have not found them... I have attached a picture so you can see what I’m referring to and have circled it in red.

Anyway what recommendations do you guys have for this? Before I rip the suspension out does any know if that bolt is welded in the top Mount? Or can it simply be replaced with a new bolt and nut? If it is welded in would anyone running coilovers be interesting in selling me a drivers side OEM top mount so I can avoid torching and welding in a new bolt?

What did you torque that nut too? You using an impact gun? They only get torqued to 44ft lbs.

You are going to need to pull out the strut assembly and check it out.

I would just get a new top assembly. Not sure how easy that bolt is going to come out.

Ended up finding the Part Number, and plan on replacing the full top mount... Of course it is on backorder. I have my torque wrench set to 44lb so not sure how this happened...
Geeesh, that sucks it's on backorder. Are you still able to drive the car with that stud broke... Is this what you're looking for Honda P/N 51670-TVA-A01?

Yup, that is the part. The dealership I work for is hoping it will arrive by the end of next week. Luckily, I have been driving on it with no issues, just taking it easy of course.

Good luck getting parts. Everything automotive is back ordered. Guys waiting months for factory parts, it's insane right now.

Yeah, the automotive industry is getting very rough right now... I sell Honda's and it is getting to be a pretty scary time.
