7000 miles New Car kept in Garage it's ~ Cabin Filter is shot already as in ~ Musty ~

Seems like a very short life cycle ?

Volvo T5 M66 went 35K , VW CC went 24K ( 7K ) ? anybody else got Input on this ?

In Good Note Cabin Filter is very Easy to Change , Took like 4-5 min. Tops

Volvo took 45 min. and Big PITA to do , VW was 12-20 min. much easier , but could Crush it if not Careful .
Volvo always had to be Vacuumed out - Full all kinds of Debris - VW had No Debris Issues , so why 7K on the Honda ? ( Possible sitting in Down Pours ) on Dealers Lot ?

Thanks for any Feed Back on Topic ~

Yep, just replaced mine at 10K miles and 1 year for the same reason. I read somewhere that not using recirculate help with the smell. Never had a problem before with any of our cars. At least they are cheap and easy.

Thanks for all the reply's - Yes it was Easy - Smell Lingered for a Bit - even with No Filter , so I gave it a Hit Lysol Spray and Quick Vac - just in case - Popped in the K&N Unit with
Refresh - works very well ( 7K ) was short lived Factory pc. , but Car was sitting on Dealer Lot for some ~ time . .

If I get 12K out of this New Filter that would be more like It ..
