I have a 2.0T Touring with 1700 miles and noticed the leather on my steering wheel was starting to become undone. Right next to the cruise control switches. Not sure if the glue is failing but it is clearly noticeable. Having a good relationship with my dealership and possibly because I'm leasing this car, the dealership is ordering me a new steering wheel. I can't be the only one experiencing this out there. Just thought I'd let everyone know that the dealer shouldn't fight you on this. Check your steering wheels! PS sorry for the crooked pictures. Not sure on how to reorient them.

It looks like the leather was cut a tad too short in that area on your steering wheel. Mine is still OK ... no sign of coming apart or separation.
You're right! I'm very gentle in the way i grab the steering wheel and i always make sure my hands are clean so there's no way i could've caused it to separate. I just happened to get one of the bad batches. I hope I don't get another bad one when they replace the steering wheel though!
