Hey everybody, just joined this forum as I made my switch from a 17 civic Si coupe to an 18 accord sport 2.0T yesterday. This is actually my second AccordX as my wife had an 18 EX-L 1.5 until we traded it in a few months ago. I loved my Si but it was a little cramped for my two boys and my wife came across the exact accord I’ve wanted since the 10th gen came out. I’m excited to make the switch and enjoy this car. I haven’t spent much time looking at the aftermarket performance options for this platform so I’m curious to see what everyone is doing!

Welcome to the forums indeed! Beautiful color! Same exact thing that happened to me.. I had a 2014 Orange Si, and I had traded it in for my 2018 Sport 2.0T Modern Steel Metallic 10 speed auto. My wife refused to learn how to drive manual because it's un-realistic. You'll absolutely love the car! IT's fast, handles very very well, and looks amazing! Got to love having that Type R engine in it as well!

My car is a 2020 but it's exactly the same.

I haven't done a thing to it other than to get winter wheels and tires for it, and adding satellite radio (Canada's Sport models lack this feature for some reason, and I like it because of how much highway driving I do).

I love the car. It's a joy to drive. And I'm so glad I could get it with a stick.

Welcome to the club.

It’s definitely quick, I’m loving it already. My wife’s was great to drive even being the 1.5 with the cvt but this is much more suited to me lol

thanks everyone

Nice Colour! I just purchased a 2018 2.0 Manual Obsidian Blue Pearl Accord and the colour is growing on me. I want to change the rims from stock 19' to all black honeycomb. Also would it be advisable to get 18" rims for a softer ride, I'm 66 years old and don't plan on driving it hard.

my wife had an ex-l with smaller factory wheels and the ride was slightly softer but i don't notice a ton of difference between the ride on mine and hers. going with a 17 or 18 and a taller sidewall should help some though.
