I just bought a 2018 Accord Hybrid and noticed the native Honda capability will not sync more than 2000 contacts from a smartphone. This means you can't effectively use hands-free calling and texting since Honda also doesn't allow you to control which of your 2000 contacts get sync'd. Showstopper issue. Only way around it is to use old fashion cable with Android Auto.

It is not unusual for sales or Bus Dev people to have well over 2000 contacts on your smartphone. Significant Honda limitation here. Wish someone at Honda would listen and improve this limitation.

Wow, thanks for the info... I thought my 400+ plus contacts was a lot but can see/understand how a business (w/additional personal) contacts could exceed 2k. However, with that said I've started to connect/use Android Auto more for the ability to use Waze as my navigation. If only Android/Apple Car Play were Bluetooth capable it would truly be seamless.
