Title Edit: CBP* (Crystal black pearl) Wow what a fail. Anyway...

It would cost me an arm and a leg to have an aftermarket company custom create some flimsy, boxy diffuser and charge outlandish amounts for it, plus shipping, I decided to go the self creative way and improvise.

I managed to find something that worked for $40 after taking some measurements of the lower center piece of the rear bumper and its clip configuration. All that was required were some cuts, some traces, some drills, and then mounting. I really dig how it came out.

If you guys are interested in doing this mod yourself, check out the measurements for a rear windshield "vortex generator" for the 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer and you'll find some cool things to think about and mess around with in photoshop before you delve into a project.

I've attached photographs of the results. Enjoy!

I would like to add that this mod is 100% useless and will not do anything to improve any aerodynamic aspect of your vehicle and is strictly for the sole purpose of eyeball and mental horsepower.
It may be 100% useless but it’s also 100% good looking.

What brand exhaust is that? Looks good. How much of a power gain, and how loud is it?
The exhaust is just a custom axle back muffler delete w/ MagnaFlow dual layered and staggered burnt tips.

It may be 100% useless but it’s also 100% good looking.
Thanks :D
You did a good job!! looks very good! it looks like the part is EOM actually :)

Would you mind sharing how you installed the exhaust tips? Was it difficult?

But how much was exhaust work? And did you have to do that for the exhaust work?

Thanks. I always get custom exhaust work done at the same shop because I don't trust myself welding. you can get something like this done for like $200-$350

I didn't have to add the diffuser for the exhaust work but for these tips I had to remove the OEM polished tips that were in these tips' place.
@8yourv8 your car looks awesome. I would like to do the same. Have 2018 Accord 2.0 Touring. Can I meet you in or around Boston MA or anywhere where is convenient. Like to see the car in person and also like to know how more about how to get this diffuser installed. Please email me at [email protected] with your contact info. Thanks
Exhaust Tips

Whats the inlet for the exhaust tips?

Thanks :D
do you remember where you got to dual tips from? Link?

I want those tips!!!!!
On topic: That diffuser looks like it was always meant to be there! nice job!

Off topic: I too really dig the Exhaust set up. If I am Understanding correctly, this is very close to stock, so the sound should be comparable to the normal stock exhaust? I cannot stand the stock setup visually especially how the exhaust doesn't directly port to the "chrome tips" and just kind of blows exhaust under the car/bumper.
