So, I bought an extra OEM dipstick with an idea to use a dremel tool with metal cutting wheel and remove the IDIOTIC ORANGE GAUGE on the dipstick. First I used the Dremel tool to slice into the high/low circles , then made a few cuts in between so the removal would be easier. Then I used the Dremel to etch it up in between , and used a pair of pliers to break off the orange plastic.
My primary concern was reading with NEW OIL changes, but so far with brown oil, its a lot easier to read. In 1000 miles I will be doing my 1st oil change, I'll let you know if its any improvement.
