I did my 33k service recently (also some software upgrade from the dealer) and the Dash Board reading which shows that refueling KM has drastically dropped down. From 850/914/928Km's (Pics attached) (which means I get an average around 16.39Km/L or 6.1L/100Km) to 557KM (means 9.94Km/L). It never gave be below 850Km in a full tank because my average driving speed from 80 -90Km/Hr occasionally 120Km/Hr.

(I'm discussing this from Saudi Arabia)

I went to Honda service and discussed, they were surprised how its possible 850 or 914KM and so many bla bla bla, I showed them my pics but still they are in a denial mode and didn't even know my cars fuel tank capacity of accord 2018. They were checking other accords in there for service (but all of them were 2.0 T version where as mine is 1.5T) and they were showing 445Km for refueling after full tank (It depends on the driving). I even showed what Honda claims in their milage sticker (18.4Km/L i.e. 1030KM full tank) and I said it never happens but I'm satisfied with 15.5 to16.39Km/L that i usually get.

Car is still under warranty and I have done a mail with all the pics attached last week still no response from them.

any help over here will be much appreciable.

Could this possible be something that was reset during the "software upgrade" you mentioned and has to be learned after going thru a few tank fulls? You stated prior to service you were averaging "which means I get an average around 16.39Km/L or 6.1L/100Km" if that doesn't change after you've gone thru a couple tanks I wouldn't worry about it.

Hello! Fired00d, thx for your kind reply. Yep I did fill 3 times after the service. Third fill the range came down to 553 to 557. Now I have run the car more than 553 as per the B trip settings (which I set to reset at every tank filling). still 165 remaining to tank fill.
I love my car, everything was fine before this periodical service and something was screwed up in service. to my surprise the Foreman who talked with has no clue how much is my accords fuel tank capacity. Also there was an battery issue which they replaced. when I said him that there was indication for the battery low in the sash board, he said its electronic battery (what the heck).

What is/has been your Km/L for the 3 fill ups after the service? Did the "16.39Km/L" decrease from what you were getting prior to the service? Are your driving conditions/habits same/similar to what they were when you were getting that Km/L? Also, here in the US there is a summer grade & winter grade fuel and when the grades are changed Km/L (MPG) will be impacted.

Got the pics from my home-office trip which is about 13.1Km and tank fill (20th May 2021). The tank fill was 557 as in picture. In trip B you can see I have already reached 582Km which is exceeding what the full tank refueling was showing. Just worried. Got a call yesterday from Honda dealer based on the email to them and informed me they will look into it and call me back.

Previously I had Pajero and felt guilty of having the mammoth without a second thought and was polluting like anything because of its very high fuel consumption. It was just 2 years and i traded it out and went with Accord 2018.

That being the case it might be what I thought something in that update set it back to perhaps a default setting and the car will learn what is exact after a few tank fills. If it were me I would continue to monitor the Km/L to see if they drastically change, if not I wouldn't worry about the Km to empty.
