How can I disable the voice when using navigation to and from a location?

I'm sure its hidden somewhere in the infotainment settings. I typically use Google maps on my phone instead.
It needs to be done from the Apple Maps settings in your phone. It seems like Car Play has no software in the car, but only what is needed to mirror your IPhone. But someone needs to weigh in on this. Not my pay grade. Sure wish I could mirror Waze. Can anyone help with that?

I have an Iphone for Carplay and I can't get Waze OR Google Maps to work only Apple Map.
Navigation Software glitch:
When I got my new Accord I noticed that "Traffic" was not displaying on my Nav screen even though it indicated it was turned on in settings. A trip back to dealer and a call to software source couldn't figure out the problem. But, there on Page 50 in the Navigation manual it states to "Restore to factory default" and- it worked! Still traffic accidents and congestion not as well displayed as Apple Maps used in Car Play!

Only Apple maps will work.
Hoping we get Waze working without messing deeply with the iPhone. I understand Google has it working with Android??

If you're referring the voice assist from the Navi maps, you can take the volume all the way down in settings.
If you're referring to Car Play utilizing the phone maps, the phone settings control that voice volume.
If using the factory Nav, you CANNOT mute the volume. Its a feature the Manual describes, but doesn't work. I cant use my phone for AA or Carplay due to being a company phone, so I have to use factory NAV, and basically its impossible to have it co-exist with the Stereo, due to constant interrupts from the Nav system. Its been a known issue for some-time.

One of the growing list of annoyances I've noticed after living with my Touring model for a year. With Honda's reputation for a buttery smooth user experience, many directly driver facing features are annoying. It's like they overthought some things and didn't even bother considering others.
