I did LED brights swap. $50 on amazon and maybe 10 minutes of time, most of that was popping out the peg for the window washer reservoir. First it's functional: more & better light. Second now the brights color match the headlights & fogs. Third, cool white (6k kelvin) just looks great.
Which lights are you talking about?

My bumper inserts is probably one of my favorite, low cost accessories that really sets my car apart from other cars. I paid less than $42 for them. I had them for almost a year but they were recently painted since my car was in an accident last week. View attachment 4326
I’m struggling to find these. Happen to have a link?

Here's another nice trunk mod for around sixty bucks. I really dislike how the trunk will bounce up and down like one a cheap subcompact sedan and open only 3/4 of the way. This mod will solve both issues.

Thanks for that! While I was poking around Aliexpress for cheap stuff for my 10th gen, I saw the ads for trunk struts but never bothered to click on them to find out more. Now that I know what they do, I'm gonna give a set a try.

typical ad:

cheapest one I found:

For under $20, I'm willing to give it a shot...

(and for those of you who aren't familiar with Aliexpress - caveat emptor! - I've gotten stuff that has turned out pretty good (knocking on wood) and stuff that I've had to request refunds for (only have had 1 or 2 returns where I didn't get a full refund)).

I actually have quite a few items from Aliexpress installed/mounted on my Accord; to stay on track for this thread, here is one of them that worked pretty good (I'll try to take some pictures later tonight):

The kit plugs right into the factory accessory socket (I have the OEM accessory puddle lights installed and these plugged in right next to that wiring socket in the panel under the dash). The lights turn on/off with the puddle lights and other interior lights but do not stay on in a dimmed mode, which I think the OEM accessory ambient lighting kit does? I actually bought a second set for the back seats but had to add a little length to the wiring and also piggy back/splice them into the first set because there is only room for the 1 plug.

Used the below items to connect the second set to the first - so far so good (knocking on my head):

So for those who have done this strut mod, how much dampening does the strut have? I had the OEM trunk lid spoiler installed (which also requires the upgraded spring). Shortly after getting the car home, when I opened the trunk on a windy day, the wind caught the lid and threw it open so hard that the both front corners of the trunk lid impacted the rear window. This chipped the paint off of the trunk corners, and lightly chipped the glass. ? I'm surprised the back window didn't shatter since it hit so hard. Opening the lid automatically would be nice, but even better if it would prevent the lid from wind gusts.

cheapy sun visor for head unit

a couple of bucks for plastic (like from a folder or notebook cover) and adhesive Velcro from the dollar/99 cent store... if I had to do it again (and make it more sturdy/durable/permanent) I probably would use a little thicker plastic, spend a little more time forming/bending, and affix with double sided tape (3M automotive)...

The cup holder inserts from CUp Holder Hero are awesome. I put them in all my vehicles.
