I have a question about this and all other 'open' filters.
Why won't they suck hot under-hood air into the intake rather than cooler outside air?
I know the OEM intake it right next to it, but it still seems like you'd get more hot air with something like this.
What am I missing?

I have the PRL stage one. Smooth blue tube, looks good and replacement filter in the stock box. sounds great. looks good and no issues with dealer/Honda. I agree on smoothing out the airflow. Easy to put back stock tube and filter.

Sounds really good in sport mode. Probably getting the KTuner and Borla cat back.
