For those who camber plates up front how does one adjust camber once it is assembled? There is barely any room to make adjustments after I installed Tein Flex Z coilovers
Let the people doing the alignment struggle with a alan key lol but probably won’t get the best alignment or get the grinder and cut a little bit of the dome off to get to the plates this method was suggested by a alignment shop to me but didn’t go through with it.
That’s what I was afraid of! What did you end up doing? Did you ever get your front aligned? Just saw this on Amazon. I might have to order and give this to tech whoever is doing alignment, and be like do your thing lol
Most likely they will have those on hand, I had the tech that did my alignment do the best they could do. I know it was a PITA lol. It came out ok but not the best.
By dropping the suspension and adjusting it thay way can you still get accurate alignment? I would have to find a shop that is willing to do it this way as well
On the front the pic I posted above that black knob you turn it clockwise to make it stiffer and counterclockwise to make the ride softer with each click with up to 16 ways of adjusting. The rear it’s pita because you have to take off the wheel to make the adjustments. But I just set it to the recommend settings with 8 clicks counter clockwise from the stiffest setting on the rears, and 7 clicks on the front from the stiffest setting.
Edit: forgot to mention Tein also has electronic damping force controller (EDFC) that you can install on top of the adjustable dampers, which you can control from the inside of your vehicle. Kind of wish I spent the few extra bucks to get these installed tbh
Nice! Need to look into that. Same with mine. I went with Silvers coilovers. I have to take the rear wheel off. I just maxed the coils and set the dampers to softest. Rides really nice, actually.
