Seen few Tech Bulletins , I guess what U call them where Honda wants - all Data on Battery Failures or Replacements ?

I Don't understand anyone done this or Had Their Honda Factory Battery Replaced ?

All sudden - car wouldn't Start and Anti-Thief is showing Warning - Due to Low Power the system had Not been Started ..

Says to Hold the Power Button ( ? ) Wish everyone at Factory would be on Same Freaking Page ..

I Guess they Mean Start Button for 2-3 seconds to Reset - Issue is - It Never Resets !

Honda does Not State WHY - Honda wants Your Battery Data ? , Nor Does Honda say anything about Prorating Factory Battery
Or Giving Scrap Value which could be as High $15 Depending on where Taken Batteries weight around 45lbs Sold Lead is .55 cents a lb.

I Know Accord 2.0 T Battery is H6 size - seems Not all Battery Companies can't even get on same Page seen some Marked S6 but shown to Fit Accord..

Tested after Leaving Head Lights on 2 Min. then Started Twice & Volts never Dropped Below ( 10.5 Volts. During Start Up )
Tested as 12.1 Volts Non Running & 13.99 Volts Running at 1600 Rpm ..

I Then Tested for Current Draw after sitting ( Read Only .55 Mill Amps ) which Most State is A-OK

Most Factory Batteries I have had have Gone 5-7 Years - Current Honda Factory supplied is Only 3.7 Years Old .. ( Possible Heat & Location High Up in Heat )
~ Has Shortened Life Span ~

OH I also , Pulled A/C Relay and Other Relays - to CHECK ON BATTERY Drawn Down when Parked - those Relays do make some small Difference . /.

Not Large Difference as If a Relay had Failed - which I guess sometimes those Melt inside & Cause a Constant Drain !

Seems like I've read several complaints about the factory batteries. The battery on my 2018 Accord Touring 1.5 went dead at about 8 months and less than 5,000 miles. Dealer said batteries aren't covered by warranty and wanted $300 to replace it. Took it to Advance Auto and replaced it for around $100 or so about 3 years ago. It's still working great.

Replaced my battery on my 2019 Touring 2.0T recently after about 50k. It just wouldn't hold a charge any more. Got really good at jumping my car with one of those little charging blocks with clips.

I live in Florida. Just replaced my battery. Dealership said that I was lucky to get my three years four months of life out of it. See the thread I just posted on the topic (“12V Battery Life”).
