Anyone else having issues with HondaLink to start and unlock your vehicle? I'm running Android 8.0 on my Note 8 and also tried on iOS with it still not working. I took it to the dealership today and they simply told me to call HondaLink, I had initially brought it to the dealership because the error message was telling me to take it to the dealer. They both seem to be pointing the finger at each other.

Annoying since I'm on the trial and cannot even test out all of the features.

Update: After three months of trying to fix my app issues Honda called today to advise that a fix was implemented. The fix lasted 1 hour back to the drawing board-lol!
It took about a week and 5 phone calls. It finally started working yesterday.

Finally, my Hondalink App is functioning as it should be. Fingers crossed it last!
I'm the owner of a 2018 Honda Sport 1.5... Hondalink (Apple Car Play) has been working ok... yesterday, while driving to my grandson's soccer game, the screen froze up (IPhone was still working)... now my IPhone does not connect to the radio... nothing changed. Anyone ever seen this?
My car is the no sunroof give me headroom instead model. Apparently they don't deem those of us who don't want sunroofs worthy of extra features. I'd probably even pay a small fee if I could start my car remotely to cool it off before getting in. Oh well, at least I don't bump my head. :)

Haven't experienced that before but I would try the following easy things... Have you tried rebooting your phone? Does your phone still bluetooth connect to your car? If the reboot doesn't work and it's still connecting bluetooth try uninstalling/reinstalling Hondalink.
It's working again - Here's what I did...
Bluetooth was always working - no problem there
Swapped cable - not working
Rebooted IPhone - not working
Found a procedure online to Factory reset the radio.
Ran the Settings-System-Factory Reset... takes a few minutes... (this will delete any special settings you may have had put in)
Hooked up IPhone - Bingo... all good... some say this is temporary and the problem can appear again...

Glad you got it figured out/fixed... I had to do the reset once before when my navigation quit working (Navigation Screen Blank - Map Data Loading Message). So far I haven't had to do it again (did I just jinx myself ). As nice as all the technology/electronics are they can be frustrating and a royal PITA at times. :plain:
