I would doubt any info would be provided w/o a subscription. My car was purchased new w/a trial period before I was a subscriber so can't confirm.
The HondaLink App loses connection for me somewhat regularly. Possibly because I don't use it often... but I have to re-pair it to the car to get data out of it. Since I've always opted for the subscription for the other/advanced features I never knew what the basics were.

Not to make a fuss, but this "honda tech" provided incorrect info. There may be confusion on the part of the tech between "vehicle registration" with the app, and "subscription to" the app. Further, the advanced features are only available on a limited number of models. As I understand the paid subscription levels of HondaLink are only available on the Touring Trim. I have the subscription to the "Remote" HondaLink so I can remote start my car from my phone without having to be within whatever distance.What are the for-pay features?
