Just recently installed the black sport grill with the insert. Well, it looks like I ordered the bronze insert instead of the black one. People say it looks good but it annoys me to no end. Does anyone know how hard it is to replace just the chrome insert?

I had my dealership install the grill for a total of $202.00. Before you mention painting it, the grill insert is only $36.00. If the bumper has to be taken off again to replace the insert I might as well buy a new insert.

I'm pretty sure the grill will have to be taken off again. ? Take a look at this thread - Installing Optional Front Grille... it will show you the process it takes to do the job.

Damn. Well that’s a $200 mistake. Sigh.

Maybe too late... but the grill would need to come off and you can do it without removing the entire bumper.
