Im planning on swapping out the stock alternator with a custom high output one. Being that its located towards the back left side kind of under the engine, what would be the best approach to remove it? Do you think it has to be wiggled around until it slides out? Looks to be in an awkward spot. I have not attempted this yet just trying to get a game plan. Thanx for any advice.

To be honest I’ve been out of the audio scene for a while now but I will be sure to ask my coworker when I go back to work Thursday if you haven’t found the answer yet. Don’t wanna tell ya information I’m not sure of. Planning on installing some amps and subs?

well i have a system in there right now its about 1200 watts. Im planning on doing a new build with about 3500 watts so upgrading my alternator is a must. Was curious if the "gauge control module and battery sensor" you mentioned would effect an aftermarket alternators output.
