Hey all. Not too sure what exactly this is called...but I tried a bit of searching so sorry if this has been asked.
Anyway, the sound emitted for safety reasons at low speeds from the hybrid...can it be changed? I’m wanting to know if it can be modified to be another sound, anything other than the eerie UFO futuristic non-car noise it is now. Would like to just make it sound like a car at idle or something. Anyone?

Just found this online: “The only notable change for the 2020 Honda Accord is an updated Acoustic Vehicle Alert System (AVAS), which is the monotone hum the car makes when it’s cruising in EV mode. This dull humming sound helps inattentive pedestrians and vision-impaired people, who would otherwise rely on the noise from an engine, know there is a car coming toward them.”

Apparently the feature I’m referring to is called the Acoustic Vehicle Alert System

Hey there...I just recently bought my new 2020 Accord Hybrid and wanted to know the same thing....the low speed noise is pretty cool, but would also like to know if it's possible to change it to something else? Did you happen to figure/find anything else out?
