Hey! I purchased a 2020 HAH a couple weeks ago, and I've already got the itch to upgrade the stereo. I've found all the info and ideas on install I need to know except the most important one...is there an issue with exceeding a certain wattage in the HAH? I'm not looking for a several thousand watt system, just a few hundred RMS for the four corner speakers and a few hundred for the sub.

Crutchfield cautions against exceeding 350 Watts RMS in the hybrids, but in the real world, how important is that?

In the real world you can damage the hybrid system, that's why they advised that. If your feeling lucky I'm sure a few of us would be interested.

Crutchfield have been in the stereo/entertainment business for many years and I would consider them experts in those fields. I have visited their retail stores and purchased products from them and have been beyond pleased w/their customer relations, product knowledge, and product purchased. Along w/selling stereo's for cars they also install them so I would heed their warning.
