So I'm giving Ktuner a try after having a JB4 for over 2 years now. I decided to make the plunge because I'm getting an intermittent CEL from my catted downpipe, the only to remove it is with a flash tune. Here's a video showing how to flash using Ktuner's software and a couple of pulls.

Thanks for sharing... Are/were you using premium fuel when you installed Ktuner.... if not will you be switching to premium? I've read on Ktuner's site that premium fuel is recommended w/their upgraded tunes.

Absolutely, anytime you tune a car for more performance premium fuel is necessary not recommended. I had the jb4 prior to the Ktuner and always ran 93. If you do run regular on a tuned car you will get less hp as well as cause excessive knock which is really bad. The car will also pull timing and will decrease the power output so it doesn't damage itself.
If your in an emergency situation and couldn't get premium, you could get away with regular. Only drive easy and try to stay out of boost. Don't start asking it to preform, it will start to cause problems. Hope that brings some clarity

Ok, had an "ole timers" moment and forgot that you had been running the JB4 prior (and probably running premium).
