I’ve been looking into potential audio upgrades for my car and have been looking for something plug and play that looks factory, but nothing is currently available. In the past, I’ve had a few systems from OEM Audio Plus and they have been perfect. I’ve been reaching out to them about developing for the XGen Accord, but wanted to see if I could garner some more interest here.

If this is something you would be interested in, please post/comment here. Also, if you go to their website (www.OEMaudioplus.com) and request they develop for the Accord platform that would be awesome.

$1600 Seems like a way overpriced way to add some speakers and a dsp (quick look at the Prius). Non name brand speakers ect. Crutchfield already supplies wiring harness ect for speaker's. Alpine makes a plug and play sub as well. Got my PSU300 on ebay as open box. All told, I will have spent about half that, even after my dsp and Sirius/XM. If you look at the thread about metra harness also another way to add that even less money. I have a hybrid so wanted something plug and play hence the PSU300. Quite a few posts in audio section about this from me and others already. Kicker makes a key amp with a built in dsp. Other prefer JL or LC1.

I see what you’re saying, but I’m looking for something with the fit and finish of a kit like this. Just looking for a sub box that fits nice without sacrificing trunk space, the one option I found was $250... just for a box. I understand this isn’t for you, just trying to garner interest from people who might be looking for something like this.

Also, I’ve had these systems in the past and performance and sound is great. That being said, you could’ve just skipped right past without commenting if you weren’t interested. It’s that easy.

You didnt say you were just looking for a sub box that fits nice and does not sacrifice trunk space. You said you were looking for something with oem integration that is plug and play that looks factory. You said there is nothing that is plug and play available and thats just not true. I gave you the Alpine and Metra option. Behind the doors where the speakers are installed, are done exactly the same way as any aftermarket installer. They are also suppling the aftermarket harness to connect everything. Alpine/Metra/Crutchfield harness options both do the same thing. Only difference is it looks like they integrate the rings into the speakers they make as a "kit". Of course it sounds great, they are adding a dsp. You could leave everything stock and just put the dsp in and it would sound great. Which again you could do plug and play with the Metra harness.
That being said you could not post on a public forum asking for help, and then expect people not to comment or help you with better options that will save a lot of money and sound even better.

Agree to disagree. The plug and play ability and fit and finish of the system I posted is a lot better than most other aftermarket systems I’ve had. You clearly have an understanding of some of this. But again, I was trying to garner interest in this specific product. I’ve done my research and looked at other options, which is why I took the time to write this post.
