I believe the OP realizes that the Canadian Accords have a heated windshield. He's asking if the wiring is there to convert the US models, and if buying the switch will do the trick.Canadian models have heated windshields (Page 202 Owner's Manual). - The windshield is different; and
- The wiring behind the switch location is not there.

Anyone been able to figure out if the wiring is already in your accord to support the front wipers de-icer as on the Canadian market models?
I have found the part number for the switch in the left knee instrument panel cluster, but don't want to waste the $ if the rest of it isn't in the car.....
