Is Canadian model front wiper de-icer wiring built into a US Accord?

Is the windshield different also? My Ridgeline has wiring embedded in the windshield that de-ices the wiper blades. I don't think US Accord windshields have the embedded heating elements.

Canadian models have heated windshields (Page 202 Owner's Manual). On my phone now and can't post a screenshot of that page.

I believe the OP realizes that the Canadian Accords have a heated windshield. He's asking if the wiring is there to convert the US models, and if buying the switch will do the trick.

The answer is probably not because:

1. The windshield is different; and
2. The wiring behind the switch location is not there.

We're saying the same thing :smile:

I was saying that because of the difference in the windshields would lead me to believe that there is some wiring (or something internal/integrated) in that windshield to produce the heat. Even if the wiring was there w/o that windshield I doubt the results the OP is trying to achieve are obtainable.
