I think it’s bogus that you need to have a top level Touring Trim to be able to lock/unlock and remote start your Accord. Is there anyway to unlock or add these same features to my HondaLink app for my 2018 EX-L?

Hondalink overall is crap, regardless of what trim you have.

Especially considering other makes give you these kind of access/features for free without paying for a subscription or buying the highest trim

I guess that's all relative to what your expectations and cost for those are.... for me <$0.55/day for Security & Remote isn't a bad deal. For comparison since you mentioned "other makes give you these kind of access/features for free" my wife owns a '19 Acura TLX and yes "Basic" (Owners Guide, Recall Notification, Schedule Service, & Roadside Assistance) are free w/AcuraLink, but there 2nd tier "Connect" doesn't offer remote start such as HondaLink does. AcuraLink 2nd tier is $159 annual subscription and HondaLink annual subscription for Security & Remote is $199.... so for a difference of $0.11/day more I'm spending to me it's not a deal breaker... what in today's economy can $0.11/day buy me? lain: Yes... I know the FOB will do remote start (w/line of site to vehicle) but w/the app I can do it w/o having to be line of sight to the vehicle which IMO is worth $0.11/day.

I have a '19 Accord LX and I have the same question. If I cant do it through Honda link maybe I will buy a Viper system. Good luck!
