Issues With Ventilated Seat Fan Not Working?

4636 Views 11 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Fired00d
Anyone experience the ventilated fan in front seat not working. Turned the drivers seat on yesterday due to such a warm day, and the fan in the seat back not working. I purchased the car last June and have use them many times without problems. Curious if anyone has experienced this, and what might be the answer for the dealer to fix? I'm not seeing anyway for them to get to the seat back to even reach the fan. Thanks

I was thinking fuse but looking at manual I can't find anything specifically addressing seat fan... are all other power options of the seat working? If not check page 688 of owner's manual there are some fuses there associated w/drivers seat. Good luck.
Thanks for the info. All other options are working properly, even the bottom seat fan. Will check the owners manual. Appreciate your time.
Well dang!!! Was hoping it was something simple... but nothing seems simple anymore.
Not any more. SO much technology in this car. I believe they will have to replace the entire seat.
So true about the technology... the fact that this is the first year of a new generation doesn't help either (we are the long term beta testers )… hoping that a lot of these "technology glitches" can be corrected w/software update/bug fixes... keeping my fingers crossed. :plain:

Keep us informed on how this is corrected... hoping it will be quick for you.
So very true. I was talking with a friend awhile back. Most of the issues are minor. A few squeaks here and rattling there, I've had my share as well. TOTALLY new design, so there will be quirks , until they fully figure out how to fix the issues. ANYWAY....I LOVE MY ACCORD!!!
