I have the V 1.2 k tuner on 2.0 and set on dual tune. Eco mode being the factory tune, is it ok to use 87 octane? With the gas price i will be on Eco mode all the time.

You should be fine if you keep your foot out of it. No full throttle acceleration. Look at your logs. You're knock numbers will increase from the .49 to higher levels. 91 octane is the minimum required fuel.

I suggest you never get out of eco mode when tuned and running 87 octane. Detonation is a very bad thing. Rods become bendy.
