K20C4 with K20C1 Serpentine belt

So for my curiosity I wanted to know if the belt for the FK8(K20C1) would work on the Accord(K20C4). Both have different parts numbers but I think I remember seeing that the reason for that was that the belt on the FK8 had more rigidity to prevent slipping for its power and to handle the heat under the hood. When I was searching for a replacement belt I came across the HKS belt for the type r which looks cool but the price idk id rather go with the oem type r belt if it fits. I then searched the diagram for both cars and they look about the same. Has anyone accomplished this yet?

Not yet. I'm only at 11k so I still have plenty of time to think about replacing. I would also like to know for future reference.
I’m at 49.9k and I do spirited driving daily but not to crazy. I started to hear a faint squeal but only when the hood is popped open you can hear it.

Do you hear that squeal on cold starts or after driving it?
I’ve only heard it while it was already warmed up and after driving, I havent checked right away on cold starts but I will report back once I do.

FYI at 48k i had to replace mine. noticed a 4 inch section on one side of the belt where it was kind of ripping slightly. Bought a continental brand from autozone and good as new. Was suprised because my old accord had 80k plus with original serpentine. Now reading your thread seems like some of these belts last only around 50k.
