I recently bought a used Accord Sport 2.0T. Totally love it! I'm an old guy (71) but still an adrenalin junkey! I am going to buy a KTuner 2.0 with Phearable stage 3 tune. What will this do to ECO and SPORT toggles? Also, does anyone know what is the max factory boost level? Thank you! This is one of the best forums I've found!

ECO mode runs stock "normal mode" factory boost of 19.3 psi. Sport gives you 24-24.5 max boost target and I imagine that normal mode puts you somewhere in between around 21psi or so.

Also, congrats on your new Accord. Great car! I hope I'm still as adventurous at that age.
Normal mode still targets 24.24.5. It just doesn't have the aggressiveness of Sport mode with steering and shifting.

Thanks for clarifying that. I knew the basic specs from having looked into. Should have figured normal between the 10AT and 6MT would both be full boost as there is only econ and regular on the 6MT. No sport button which makes no sense but what do I know, I don't get to design stuff for Honda.

One of the reasons I own a 10AT. Not sure why they did that.

Beats me. It's not like they didn't do it on the Si. Just doesn't change anything on the trans side.
Agreed. You don’t even get the red back ground and boost gauge. My 2017 Si had it and my 2017 Type R.

Remember you will need a quality 93 Octane with this tune or you will have a high knock count. If you have ethanol available and not a good 93 put a gallon and a half of E85 per tank to boost the octane. You cannot run 87 with this tune or really any tune.

Old guy (50s) checking in here too. Just got my KTuner and Phearable Stage 3 this week and have been running it this week in my 18 2.0T 6MT. I am totally loving it so far, although I need to mess a bit with some settings. I ran KTuner Stage 2 for a couple days and then flashed Phearable to compare. I ran both in the default except I put VSA at aggressive in Phearable (I think I'm going to drop back on that setting - I find it unnecessary for my style of driving and it can cause some weirdness on unpaved road surfaces and slight jerkiness around gear changes, as I learned very quickly). They are both a night-and-day difference from stock. They also feel very different from one another. I know Phearable measures better, but I think I actually may prefer the feel of KTuner Stage 2. It just feels more immediate and snappy across the board, even though I might be getting to redline a bit faster with Phearable. But like I said, I gotta mess a bit with some settings.

The great thing about the V2 KTuner is that I can keep both setups stored on the unit and flash them in a few minutes at any time straight from it, which makes testing out different tunes and settings a breeze.

Shrivel just a FYI. If you are running stage 3 you have to have advanced VSA turned totally off to get full boost and response. Here is a video but stage 3 you cant run any VSA if you want the full boost of the tune...

I have a quick question for you guys. Did you load the tune as it was sent to you or did you make any changes in the quick enables or quick adjustments. And could you tell me what the default settings were set at for "Turbo response" Throttle sensitivity" "Boost target ramp" and did they early spool on or off? Thank you.....

i have been messing with phearable stage 3 for about a week and I must say I enjoy the stage 2.1 better from ktuner for the exact same reasons. I heard the turbo spool more and it just accelerates so much faster at least feels like it. Idk does anyone else feel the same way?

The Stage 3 is set up differently in power delivery. The Stage 2 feels faster but it’s the way boost hits immediately where as the power band for Stage 3 is smoother. Stage 3 is faster, it’s just a more refined tune. Also make sure you keep advanced VSA at factory and keep early spool off. And only run a quality 93 Octane. If not available add a gallon or 2 of E85.

I just ordered this tune soon to try it out. Hondafan777 where are you running your quick adjustment for "Turbo response" and "Boost target ramp rate" I am running them now at improved 2 on my stage 2. I do know with the stage 3 if VSA is not set to factory you will be down on boost with it. I will also turn early spool off.

Just flash it with the default settings. You wont be disappointed :)

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I don’t have e85 everywhere where I live at, would those octane booster products sold at automotive stores work similarly or not? I’m just curious that’s all but think they wouldn’t work the same? Right?

Ive never tried. Used to do that with my old Prelude that was on Nitrous to increase Octane levels. Can also add a gallon or 2 of racing fuel.100 octane.

So I got the tune and I am about to flash in the morning. I see default the throttle response is set to MAX. But the throttle padding is set to soft. Which is 2 more than standard. Did you you change throttle padding any or run it default. And why do you think they made it softer like. For manual cars? Thanks.
