Just took delivery of my 2018 Platinum White Pearl Accord Sport 2.0. I've always had at least one Honda in my possession, but this is the first Accord since my 1987 Accord LX back in 1994.

Traded in my 2015 Civic Si to get something a little bigger for the family. But to my surprise, the 2.0T is a torque MONSTER (at least as far as Hondas are concerned) and really fun as a daily.

Hope to see more tech write ups in this forum, but looks like a good group so far. :smile_big:

Welcome to the forum and congrats on returning to the brand. Certainly seems like Honda has quite a sleeper with the Accord and hopefully we see some proper aftermarket support.

Yeah it would be nice to see a few things to bump the power a little more on the car.

Welcome back and congrats on the new Accord! I'm sure you're finding this quite different from your '87 aha. Did you have any mods done to your previous Si?

I didn't really do too much to the Si. I had a spare set of wheels left over from my Evo 9 laying around so I put those on the car (stock BBS SE wheels) which were about 10lbs lighter than the stock Si wheels. Pretty amazing the difference that made. I did have a FlashPro for the car and had plans to tune it...but VitViper stopped taking new clients before I could get it done.

Ill be adding an accord soon too. I have a 16 ext and man they move. Im going to be adding Ktuner to my accord too to bump that power up and get better throttle response. That was one thing I noticed on my test drives that was sort of slow. Or Maybe im just used to the instant response I have on my civic with my tune. I got lucky and got a Vit tune before he announced he was going to MoTeC. May just run the basemaps on the Accord since itll be more for family time

I'm kinda in the same boat, I want to get just a little more out of the car but I'm not going to go crazy. I've got a 650hp maniac of a car for my "fun" time sitting in the garage so I'm trying to keep at least one "normal" car.

I've been on the sidelines with the basemaps from Hondata and KTuner. I'm really curious to see how aggressive these canned maps are before I use them. I've never been a fan of off the shelf maps and now that Vit isn't tuning I'm not sure who I'd trust to tune the car.
