So, here’s my question....and it is complex.

Changing to wheels/tires that save 15lbs per corner are definitely going to improve acceleration, assuming same tires.

It is also supposed to improve handling...unsprung weight and so on.

However, playing devils advocate, it’s also raising the COG and made my MK7 feel less planted over the same rough Philadelphia streets. Both were 18” and the tires were simply swapped to the new wheels. The offset was 10-15mm out to get it flush and widen the track a bit.

Thoughts anyone?
