Honda has tried to use Aluminum many Heavy Area's - Suspension Knuckles , Brake Calipers , The Steering Rack , LCA , Engine Mounting Bracket ..etc. ( Aluminum Hood )
Many of These Places have been used by Other Competition for Years Starting Volvo 2007 , VW 2009 , so looking at this Fact _ Honda should have given this New Accord
an 2017 Aluminum Seat Frames or Aluminum Center Tunnel ! ( Better Yet Third Crush Zone ) Battery Box Zone !

Great Job - Honda ! Could You have taken it 1 Step Further - the Battery Box - Will Speak to Generations of Automobile Enthusiast !

Now that said ; I Believe Safety could have been greatly improved for Sever Accidents with More Attention Paid to Engine Bay Packaging . .
Lower and Offset more the Master cly. : Read : These were done on Type R - More Attention to Placement and ( Battery ) Could Have been Mounted Very Low side ways ( Top of Center Tunnel )
Greatly Increasing it's Life and Other's Lives in a Strong Battery Box - Special Steel Battery Inside Protected - as it Not Protected very much Now and Heat will Kill It Sooner then Later . . !
Battery Box would Act as Third Crush Zone and Serve as a ( Great = Chassis Strengthener ) Tying the Center Tunnel together . . - Removing Large Horse Shoe Brace in Process ..
Lower Center of Gravity and Rearward Move 28 Lbs 6 Inches Back and 10 Inches Lower . .
Special Attention on Type R Netted - Larger Air Box - allows Cooler Air Flow . . more Efficiency is Attained .. Accord Needs This . . Master Cly. Placement Jammed this Area all Up . .
