I ran H&R OE before really liked them. If i did do springs on this car it would be those probably. I think Tein or D2 also makes a set that is .8" drop. Always wanted to try Tein. But i like my current ride height. Get my new shoes in about 3 weeks too and cant wait to see how well the wider wheel stabilizes the car with the same size rubber.

yes 17x8 vs 17x7.5. Waiting to see how much Enkei new T6R weighs. I really like the RPF1 in bronze but they stopped making them in that color. Probably go Konig Ultragram w Conti DWS06, shave about 10lbs per corner. Need to replace gf tires at same time actually she has less tread left than me lol.

I was going eibach but couldn't find them in stock so I bought the H&R's. Worst case I don't like it I can sell them in a year. I wanted coilovers but the service advisor at worked scared me about dd'ing it in the winter and the rusty threads. Wheels and springs going on next week!!
Unless you need adjustability, I would stick with a spring, strut/shock combo. Less cost usually, easier to setup, and as you mentioned the threads issue. Once I got my coils dialed in I never adjusted them anyways so. I liked my koni sport shocks because they could be adjusted from under the hood. Bilsteins are nice too. Koni fsd shocks would probably be really nice on this car to maintain comfort.
I'm running the Konig Countergrams take a look at those as well!!
They don't make them in bronze, but they're a pound lighter lol. The RPF are 15lbs
