So I've noticed from time to time my dash will start making a mechanical sounding clicking noise. It doesn't matter if the A/C or heat is on or off and I can't find any common variable that seems to cause the issue. I tried to attach a video of the sound but it's too large. it sounds like it's coming from the guage cluster. Any ideas?

i have the same exact thing going on in my 2020 Sport 2.0T.
It’s infuriating. Almost sounds like some sort of relay clicking. Car only has 5k miles on it.

Anybody figure this out? I have a 2020 Sport 2.0T. Started at around 4K miles. Driving me insane! It does sound like some sort of relay malfunctioning. Pretty sure it’s the same thing you all are experiencing. Was doing it before the winter, then stopped when winter hit and now that the weather is warmer it’s doing it again. And like stated in other posts, doesn’t matter if the air or heat is in or neither. I’m going in for an oil change Friday and I dont have a good feeling that they will know what it is or be able to replicate it.
