Not sure if this has been touched on in here and if it has can someone direct me to the discussion, but at what should I consider looking into motor mounts?
Not sure I understand your question... are you meaning as a maintenance replacement or an upgrade?

I have the top torque motor mount by hasport 62A it works wonders reducing that engine flex but with all pros comes the cons. Only downside to this is the rattleing inside the cabin. If you cant tolerate cabin rattles these mounts are not for you thus far the dash and door panels will be noisy.

The stock 1.5L Upper Engine Mount is composite with rubber bushings.

The 2.0L manuel trans mounts are aluminum.

Drivers report that the car accelerates smoother. Another Lunch time fix according to the Honda Jon youtube video.

I have a new 1.5 sport...when I bought my car that was the first thing I changed. I had the sellsman get it for me and had mechanic install it for me before I left the dealership with my new car. I have no before and after experience because I never drove the car without it installed.

Wow! Is the mount that flexible that people are not waiting 12 months 12000 miles?

At least it blends in with the other engine parts.

Vegas: There are many Honda estores that Honda dealer choose to have. You get about 1/3 off of msrp.

Is the mount the same on the hybrid. It's not the wear and tear it's about removing the slop in the drivetrain. In the case of the Hybrid, and I'm sure the other models since people are upgrading them, there is a lag between flooring the gas pedal and the car accelerating. More power will exasperate it. VW's have notoriously soft mounts, i upgraded them within a month of having the vehicle. I would stick with a stock option now because not looking for the extra cabin vibrations.

On the hybrids especially you got Auto Stop. That engine is starting often them immediately forced to move the car. I have It in my insight. Tranny mount rubber failed first.

I dont have any extra vibration with mine installed.
Because as i said you went with a stock upgrade. I know the Hasport one does from several reviews I have read. I am done with the super stiff, super sporty, daily driver. That's basically the only type of vehicle I have ever driven daily for over 20 years. I have been curious about mounts and the slop in the drivetrain from the beginning. I would like to see about reducing some of the lag under heavy acceleration.

Does this Mount upgrade really smooth out the starts, and stop n goes for the 1.5? If it does I’m already feeling the upper mount tugging.
